"The C-RSPG Network (Lower Northeastern Region) is a collaborative initiative comprising 17 leading educational institutions. Led by Suranaree University of Technology as the host institution, our network is dedicated to the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG). Together, we work towards the sustainable preservation and documentation of local plant genetics and resources within the region."

สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (สป.อว.) เป็น หน่วยงานที ่ร่วมสนองพระราชดำริโครงการ อพ.สธ. โดยน้อมนำแนวพระราชดำริในการอนุรักษ์และเรียนรู ้การ พัฒนา ต่อยอด และใช้ประโยชน์จากทรัพยากรธรรมชาติเป็นฐานในการกำหนดนโยบายและแนวทาง การขับเคลื ่อนภารกิจของกระทรวง อว. ที่สอดรับกับการพัฒนาประเทศทัั้งด้านเศรษฐกิจ สังคม สุขภาพ และ สิ่งแวดล้อม มุ่งเน้นให้สถาบันอุดมศึกษาทั่วประเทศเรียนรู้การใช้ประโยชน์จากทรัพยากรท้องถิ่น และสร้างการ เติบโตบนฐานทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ ่งแวดล้อมอย่างสมดุล โดยอาศัยองค์ความรู ้จากการทำวิจัยและนำไปสู่ การสร้างกระบวนการใหม่ๆ ที ่สามารถพัฒนาเป็นเทคโนโลยีที ่เหมาะสมของประเทศ และขยายผลไปสู ่พื ้นที่ ภาคชุมชนเพื ่อให้เกิดการปรับตัวอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ควบคู ่ไปกับการสร้างการเรียนรู ้ตลอดชีวิต (Lifelong Learning) โดยเปิดโอกาสให้สถาบันอุดมศึกษาสามารถจัดการเรียนการสอน หรือสร้างการเรียนรู้ในรูปแบบ ต่างๆ ให้กับบุคลากรในสถาบัน รวมถึงคนในชุมชนได้ตระหนักและเข้าใจแนวทางการอนุรักษ์และใช้ประโยชน์ จากทรัพยากรท้องถิ่นอย่างยั่งยืน เพื ่อให้การดำเนินงานของเครือข่าย C-อพ.สธ. สอดรับการทิศทางการขับเคลื ่อนภารกิจของ กระทรวง อว. ในเรื ่องดังกล่าว สป.อว. จึงได้จัดทำโครงการพัฒนาศักยภาพกำลังคนเพื ่อส่งเสริมการใช้ประโยชน์ จากทรัพยากรท้องถิ่นสู่การเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต (Lifelong Learning) ของเครือข่าย C-อพ.สธ.

The Office of the Permanent Secretary (OPS) of MHESI is a dedicated partner in the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG). By embracing the Royal Initiatives on conservation, sustainable development, and resource utilization, MHESI integrates these principles into its core policies and missions.

Our Vision and Strategic Goals

We aim to drive national development across economic, social, health, and environmental sectors by empowering higher education institutions nationwide to:

Utilize Local Resources: Learn from and build upon local natural resources and the environment in a balanced manner.
Innovate through Research: Transform academic knowledge into practical technologies suitable for Thailand’s unique context.
Community Expansion: Extend research findings to local communities to foster tangible adaptation and sustainable growth.

Lifelong Learning & Sustainability

MHESI promotes Lifelong Learning by providing opportunities for universities to develop diverse educational programs. These initiatives are designed for both academic personnel and community members, fostering a deep awareness and understanding of how to conserve and utilize local resources sustainably.

Empowering the C-RSPG Network

To align the C-RSPG Network's operations with the Ministry’s strategic direction, the OPS has established the "Human Capacity Development Project to Promote Local Resource Utilization for Lifelong Learning." This project serves as a key driver in enhancing the potential of our network members to serve their communities and the nation effectively.

มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารีเข้าร่วมสนองพระราชดำริในโครงการอนุรักษ์พันธุกรรมพืชอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดาริ สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี (อพ.สธ.) ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2539 ใน 3 กรอบการดำเนินงาน 8 กิจกรรม นอกจากนี้ยังได้รับพระราชทานให้เป็นศูนย์แม่ข่ายประสานงาน อพ.สธ. - มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี ทำหน้าที่ประสานงาน สร้างความรู้ ความเข้าใจการดำเนินงาน อพ.สธ. ให้แก่สมาชิกสวนพฤกษศาสตร์โรงเรียนและสมาชิกฐานทรัพยากรท้องถิ่น ตลอดจนหน่วยงานสนองพระราชดำริ ขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินงานโดยศูนย์อนุรักษ์พันธุกรรมพืชอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริฯ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี (อพ.สธ.-มทส.) มีความพร้อมในด้านพื้นที่และองค์ความรู้ด้านงานสวนพฤกษศาสตร์โรงเรียนและงานฐานทรัพยากรท้องถิ่น มีแหล่งเรียนรู้ภายในมหาวิทยาลัย ที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงการบูรณาการในการสร้างสรรค์ภูมิรู้ ภูมิธรรม ภูมิปัญญา เพื่อให้นักเรียน นักศึกษา และประชาชนทั่วไป ได้ศึกษาหาความรู้ภายนอกห้องเรียน เพื่อเป็นแหล่งศึกษาและถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านการอนุรักษ์และใช้ประโยชน์ทรัพยากรท้องถิ่น

ทั้งนี้ ศูนย์ อพ.สธ.-มทส. ดำเนินการจัดเก็บข้อมูลทรัพยากรทั้ง 3 ฐาน ได้แก่ ทรัพยากรชีวภาพ ทรัพยากรกายภาพ และทรัพยากรวัฒนธรรมและภูมิปัญญา ในพื้นที่สนองพระราชดำริ อพ.สธ. ตามแผนแม่บทโครงการอนุรักษ์พันธุกรรมพืชอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริ สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ระยะ 5 ปีที่เจ็ด (1 ตุลาคม 2564 - 30 กันยายน 2569) สนองพระราชดำริโดย มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี

โครงการพัฒนาศูนย์ข้อมูลทรัพยากร ศูนย์อนุรักษ์พันธุกรรมพืชอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริฯ อพ.สธ.-มทส. มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนางานศูนย์ข้อมูลทรัพยากร รวบรวมฐานข้อมูลทรัพยากร และเป็นแหล่งศึกษาและถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้เรื่องการจัดเก็บข้อมูลอย่างเป็นระบบ รวมถึงการบริการวิชาการเพื่อถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านพฤกษศาสตร์ การวิเคราะห์ การสังเคราะห์ และการจัดจำแนกชนิดพันธุ์พืช พัฒนาและสนับสนุนการอนุรักษ์และใช้ประโยชน์ทรัพยากรอย่างยั่งยืน

Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) and the RSPG Project

A Legacy of Conservation since 1996

Suranaree University of Technology has proudly participated in the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG) since 1996. Our operations are guided by the 3 operational frameworks and 8 core activities of the Royal Initiative.

As the designated RSPG Coordination Center (RSPG-SUT), the university serves as a primary hub for coordination, knowledge sharing, and fostering a deep understanding of RSPG operations. We provide essential support to School Botanical Garden members, Local Resource Base members, and various royal initiative-aligned agencies.

Our Expertise and Resources

Driven by the Plant Genetic Conservation Center of Suranaree University of Technology, we offer comprehensive academic readiness and specialized knowledge. Our campus serves as a dynamic learning center where academic excellence, moral integrity, and local wisdom converge. We provide:

Outdoor Learning Spaces: Educational sites for students and the general public to study beyond the classroom.
Knowledge Transfer: Expertise in the conservation and sustainable utilization of local resources.

Resource Data Center Development Project

The RSPG-SUT Resource Data Center is dedicated to advancing resource information management. Our key objectives include:

Systematic Database Management: Centralizing and organizing resource data for efficient access and research.
Academic Services: Providing training and expertise in botany, including plant species analysis, synthesis, and classification.
Sustainable Utilization: Supporting the conservation and long-term benefit of natural resources for the nation.
